Kate Meehan (Director) moved to Austin from Chicago where she worked with Steppenwolf, Bailiwick Repertory Theatre, The Playground, Improv Olympic, and Second City. In town she has worked in a myriad of capacities with the State Theatre, Zachary Scott Theater's Project Interact, Onstage, Tongue and Groove, Sol Fly Productions, A Chick and a Dude, and the Austin Commedia Society for whom she served as Managing and Development Director. She is an active playwright and she frequently teaches mask work, improvisation, Commedia dell'Arte, and stage movement to many different sizes of people. She would like to thank her own personal ninja, her squid, and would like everyone to know that she believes in the curative powers of dog slobber.
Josie Tucker (Dramaturg, Lighting Design) is finishing up a busy year, having recently tied the knot in January. In addition to dramaturgy and lighting for this production, Josie has directed 9 x 9 x 9, The House of Yes, Ondine, Ugly Maria and Sonata Blue for us. Before becoming entwined in Coda, she founded Sol Fly Productions. Recent productions include Wilhelm Reich in Hell (Ringmaster), April's Fool (Director), and Ugly Maria (Director, Demon). For Hyde Park Theatre, she served as Assistant Director for Quake, and stage managed for Perdita. She also helped out as stage manager and consulting director for multiple touring shows in Austin. Before moving here, she attended AMDA in New York City, and was the Assistant Light Designer and general panic button for Three Feet Deep.
Aaron Cooke (Sound Design) began his musical odyssey when he began composing on his grandmother's piano around the age of 8. He has formally studied saxophone for over 14 years and has since expanded his repertoire to include many other instruments including guitar, piano, clarine, and flute. For the last 8 years he has dabbled in film scoring, composing, synthesis, music production, recording, sound engineering, editing, and has been in more bands than he can remember. He would like to thank his friends and family for their love and support.
Brent Jenkins (Fight Choreography) will next be seen as Jethro in Kung Fu Hillbilly, which begins filming this summer. He is frequently confused with a Yeti, King Kong, and many other large, flailing creatures. He will be opening a stunt school in Austin very soon.
Daniel Brock (Photography) is a third-generation photographer. His first experience with photography was on the other side of the lens, a poster child for the March of Dimes, and it was the Shriners who gave him his first camera at the age of nine. Thus, when he set up his studio under the name Twin Lens Photography, it was with a desire to explore new ways to communicate the nuances of form, color, texture, and expression while championing a cleaner, more stripped down approach to the craft of image making.

Alex Pippard (Stage Manager) is proud to be working on his umpteenth production with The Coda Project. Past favorite roles include the Chamberlain (Ondine); Sir Andrew (Twelfth Night); Pantalone (Scudi Madness); and his turn as a villanous janitor in Ice Scream, possibly the worst movie ever made.
Kara Juárez-Jones (Light Board Operator) is a member of The Coda Project's Board of Directors. Last seen in Coda's 9 x 9 x 9 as a ninja, she is an active performer on both stage and screen.
